Taking a stroll through 2014 through drawings. Since I started collecting my work, I've preferred folders that could organize the different paper formats with drafts that were spreading as I wrote, depending on when and where I could scribble. It's a way to organize a narrative of what was produced in the year with a more distant view of time, allowing some bills, letters, exams or any leaflet that contextualized the era and moment to enter the pages. All the things that compose and hinder art at the same time. In this passage, some drawings of everyday life between boxes of the stock clerk job and inspirations to some hand-transcribed stories. A year still of alienation, but class consciousness and material reality were beginning to form through the tumultuous public debate, the beginning of the mess that depoliticization would make in the following years. Memories compressed by a body without back pains, in his full 21 years of age.
